Hello, and welcome to the Friday Update from GREATER MSP's Federal Funding Hub!

The purpose of this message is to share information so that our region can make the most of the opportunities under the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA).

EDA News

• The Economic Development Administration (EDA) awarded $314 Million in American Rescue Plan State Travel, Tourism, and Outdoor Recreation grants to 34 states.

• A new program called Equitable Lending Leaders aims to help EDA Revolving Loan Fund operators improve their equity outcomes with small business lending.
  

Federal Funding Resources

• PolicyLink presents 10 Priorities for Advancing Racial Equity Through the American Rescue Plan. (Bookmark this, it’s a good one!)

• A bill pending in the House would give local governments greater flexibility and clarity on eligible uses of ARPA Funds.

• Transportation Secretary Buttigieg emphasizes regional cooperation on infrastructure funds.
